Shipping and Handling
Listed below are the current shipping methods available to our customers. Orders are typically processed within 48 hours but may require more time based on the items location. If the book is located in-store we will contact you within 48 hours to let you know your order is ready for pick-up. If your items are coming from a distributors warehouse your wait can be anywhere from 1-5 days. If you have ordered an item that requires more time to arrive at Auntie's Bookstore we will contact you.
Shipping Methods:
USPS Media Mail- arrives in 2-14 business days, depending on location, after your order is processed. $2.50 + 2.00 per item. Minimum charge is $4.50.
USPS Priority- arrives 1-3 days after your order is processed. $7.00 + 2.00 per item.
UPS Ground- arrives 2-7 days after your order is processed. $5.00 + 1.00 per item.
We may reduce shipping depending on size and weight of the package.
We also offer in-store pickup. Please note, if you order a book for in-store pickup that we do not carry in the store, you will be contacted for prepayment.

Shipping to the Spokane County Jail
Auntie's Bookstore will ship to the Spokane County Jail at media mail rate only-
priority mail must be completed in-store or over the phone. You must provide inmates full name, inmate # or appropriate wing, along with your name and number.
The following items are no longer allowed to be shipped to the jail and will result in the package being returned to Auntie's at the customers expense:
Hardback books
Used books
No more than 5 items per inmate, per mailing.
No oversized items, no stickers, no glitter, no string, no perfume/cologne.
The following magazines are banned from Spokane County Jail:
FHM, Stuff, Maxim, GQ, Curves, Easy Rider, Fully Loaded, XXL, Vibe, Fight Sport, Tap Out, Fighter's Only, Fight and High Times. Any magazine's promoting sex, drugs, fighting/ fighting techniques and mind control will not be sent to the Jail.
Auntie's has the right to determine whether an item is appropriate to be mailed to Spokane County Jail but is not responsible for the jail's refusal of an item. Customers send Jail Mail at their own risk.
Please note these shipping guidelines do not apply to Geiger Correctional Facility or any other jail/prison. Auntie's will gladly ship to any federal or local correctional facility but it is up to the customer to know what is allowed at these facilities. Auntie's will not be held responosble for items refused by said facilities.
